Join Sun Valley Guides and make your conference an experience for all of your guests to remember! A guided hiking or biking tour offers attendees the perfect opportunity to get outside the meeting room and immerse themselves in the stunning outdoors of the Sun Valley area. Led by knowledgeable local guides, these outings not only provide a chance to explore the most scenic trails but also offer insights into Sun Valley's rich history, abundant wildlife and vibrant flora. Enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape of Sun Valley as you get out for some fresh air and embrace the serenity of nature while networking and fostering connections with fellow conference attendees.
CONFERENCE PRICING AND PROCEDURES
Standard rates apply
Guest count includes total group size in the field, including organizers, security, etc.
10% management fee* is added to total before taxes.
Final invoice is based on original group size estimate. If your guest count increases, your per person rate may change. See standard rates in above link.
Final guest count is due 2 weeks prior to start date
Max group size is 8 or 10 guests depending if on BLM or USFS trails respectively.
We can set up multiple hikes/rides to accommodate different fitness levels: easy, moderate, advanced.
20% tip will be added to your final bill unless you specify in advance that you would like to tip in cash or venmo. If paid by credit card, an additional 3% fee will be added to your tip amount. Should you pay in cash/venmo, we are happy to distribute tips to each guide.

Cancellations made within 4 months of your start date will be charged 10% of total invoice for administrative planning. The remaining will be refunded to your credit card.
*Large groups require more logistical planning and therefore more time to manage on the backend. Our 10% fee allows us to work more closely with the organizers to make sure we are delivering a custom experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
We are able to adjust timing to accommodate your schedules. Please make sure you account for travel time when allocating time for your activities.

We know you’re excited about your adventure, but please understand that we don’t give exact details of our routes before booking. As professional guides, we plan each tour based on your fitness, goals, and the ever-changing conditions of the backcountry. We don’t know yet if it’ll be the most perfect bluebird day, a heatwave, or where the wildflowers will be in full bloom on your specific date (each year it changes due to varying conditions)—but we do know that we’ll pick the perfect, uncrowded spot for you, away from the masses.
Our team goes out and does recon to make sure you have a one-of-a-kind experience—which can't be done way in advance. We’re here to guide you to those hidden gems the general public doesn’t know about. So, trust us to plan an unforgettable adventure that will blow your mind!

We require payment in full to secure a day trip reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to scheduled trip are 100% non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund of the total trip cost.

Gratuity is not included in the trip fee. As with other service industries, it is customary to tip your guide(s) if you are satisfied with their service. A gratuity of 10-20% of the total trip fee is standard, reflecting the quality and excellence of your experience. Cash or Venmo is preferred.

Sometimes smoke from nearby or even distant fires can affect the area. We understand this can be a concern. Rest assured, we closely monitor air quality and will not take groups out when the AQI (air quality index) is above 150 where we are recreating.
Please keep in mind, because we are in a mountainous region, air quality can vary significantly between locations. What you see in town may not reflect conditions in the backcountry. What is coming in from one direction, might not be affecting another area of our permit. We adapt as needed, sometimes changing our planned location to find a pocket of clearer air. We do extensive recon to ensure the best experience and will make the call to reschedule if necessary.
If we determine conditions require rescheduling, we’ll reach out. However, if you choose to cancel on your own, our standard cancellation policy applies.
