Tristan Pettigrew

Raised in Idaho’s Wood River Valley, Tristan developed a passion for skiing and mountain travel at an early age. After earning a B.S. in Human Geography from the University of Oregon, he returned home to pursue a career in ski guiding and avalanche education. He continues to expand his skills through professional training and certifications with the AMGA and AIARE.

Outside of the winter season, Tristan owns and operates a commercial fishing vessel in Bristol Bay, Alaska, harvesting wild sockeye salmon. When he’s not guiding or working on the water, he can be found exploring the mountains on skis, trail running, rock climbing, mountain biking, or packrafting throughout Idaho and beyond.
